As a member of the Chamber in San Diego, your company has the opportunity to host a well-educated Swedish trainee on a J-1 Visa. SACC San Diego can help you post your training position in Sweden, review applications, and put together a list of suitable candidates for your evaluation and final selection. Once the perfect match has been made SACC will guide you and your trainee candidate through the visa application and issue the necessary documents. Our film below will enlighten you of the process.

The SACC-USA Trainee Program and J-1 visa service can be used for everything from a summer internship for a student from Sweden to a longer training program for someone who has just graduated or an 18-month visa for a Swedish employee in a rotation program. 
​The Trainee Program can be used for five types of Trainees:

• Trainees who have found a host organization with SACC USA’s help
• Trainees at SACC Regional Chambers
• Trainees who have found a host organization on their own​
• Swedish students writing their Bachelor or Master thesis in collaboration with a U.S. company.
• Employees of Swedish companies who need to go to the U.S. for training with a mother company, subsidiary or business/joint venture partner.
