What awoke your interest to pursue a career working with sustainability?
It is inspiring to drive innovation that help satisfying one of mankind's greatest and most urgent needs.
    What are the key aspects in creating a more sustainable business sector in the forth coming years?
Enabling a sustainable energy transition will be key not only to the sector but to the wellbeing of the entire planet. For renewable energy generation, that means building balanced energy systems where mature technologies like solar PV and wind power are complemented with for instance tidal stream and ocean current energy, which is predictable and independent of weather conditions.
    Have you observed any fascinating ”renewable trends” in the recent period?
I would say a global trend is the growing discussions on the need to move towards 100 percent renewable energy systems. To reach ambitious global climate goals within the next decade, expansion of renewable energy generation capacity must be accelerated.
    Who has inspired you the most to choose your professional path?
My mother, she was (and still is) a teacher inspiring me to view learning and knowledge creation as a life-long journey. I am still on that journey!

    In what way do you believe that Green Connections is important in accelerating the shift towards a more sustainable world?
All efforts to bring together innovators, regulators and investors to facilitate the development of new technologies, methods and business models are important to this development.
    What do you hope gain insights on from Green Connections 2019? 
It will be very interesting to take part of the discussion on renewable and specifically marine energy from a US perspective. And of course, the opportunity to create and enhance relations with different stakeholders attending the event.
