About U Ventures

U Ventures is a global corporation that was founded in 1988 with the main focus of Venture Start-up and Development. The current portfolio of U Ventures consists of companies in a wide variety of industries, such as Media, HR, Employer branding, and Travel. U Ventures holds more than 20 active companies and some of U Ventures core businesses include CareerTV.com, Universum Communications, Jungle Media Group, Capricorn Villas and Constellation Group.

Each year U Ventures is committed to and invests in at least one new company per year. Multiple companies have been started by U Ventures but no longer exist in the portfolio due to the fact that they have either merged with a larger company or been acquired by other investors. Some of the more successful startups that have been acquired by other investors include:

·         Jobline International, (sold in 2001 to Monster.com)

·         Campuz Mobile, (sold in 2005 to Vodafone)

·         Kenet Works, (sold in 2007 to Yahoo.com)
